European Youth Cinema Festival - "EFeMKa" is one of the rare initiatives supporting and protecting young filmmakers from all over Europe from the uneven competition that they encounter from older more experiences colleagues in this field. The festival lets them enter this film environment and make their debut, encouraging them to try and improve their workshop - despite some faults and imperfections of their first creations. Novice filmmakers are not evaluated on the basis of their technical skill but their creativity and potential.

As every year, this competition will include all film genres and forms (starting this year we also accept movies made with cell phones), and their rebel authors will have an excellent opportunity to confront their output with other filmmakers, vigorous audience, special guests and professional jury members.

EFeMKa, however, is not just a movie competition, there are numerous special screenings, happening events, meetings with interesting people and most importantedly, a small festivity of all these who love cinema, make movies and want to share them, discuss them and make valuable contacts as well as take their creativity one step further.
